Do you play as a duo, quartet, etc?

We are solo violinists. Our services create the effect of a duo because we provide a live violinist (performing the melody of your favorite songs) as well as recorded accompaniment (piano, acoustic guitar, or even string quartet). This supporting accompaniment fills out the song with harmonies and rhythms that make the music more enjoyable for the listeners.

Do you need access to an outlet/electricity?

We’re proud to say “No!” to this question. Our amplification is completely batter-powered and cordless. We like being able to play in the middle of a beautiful park, garden or field without the fuss of extension cords and the stress of needing to be set-up near an outlet.

What do you charge for travel?

We’re not into nickle and diming our clients. That’s why 100 miles of travel is included in all of our packages, whether that’s from Cincinnati, OH or Raleigh, NC. So if your event is within 50 miles of either downtown, you won’t have to pay anything extra. If you’re beyond that radius, we will give you a quote for travel when you inquire.

Who will be my violinist?

All our violinists are classically trained at a high level (included Ph.D.) and have decades of experience performing at events. We will let you know who your violinist is before your wedding. Maybe you heard one of our team members at an event or really connected with their style after watching videos of them on our YouTube channel or Instagram. In that case, we are happy to try accommodate your request.

Can you play outdoors?

Yes! We’re ready to play for your outdoor wedding or event. We just need cover from direct sun if it’s especially hot (this is usually near a tree) and also will need to move to some sort of covered area if there’s a chance of rain.

What if I don’t see my favorite song?

While our song list is always growing, we understand that some couples have a request that’s not currently offered. We’d be happy to arrange your special song for $40. You’ll be able to let us know about your song requests after you book and complete your setlist form.

Do you need to attend the rehearsal?

There’s no need for us to rehearsal because our clients complete an easy, comprehensive setlist details form that helps us know all the cues we need to ensure flawless timing of your wedding music.

How do I book?

After inquiring, we’ll set up an informal call (optional), send over some paperwork, and we’ll reserve your date with a 50% deposit. After booking, you’ll receive a setlist form when you’ll provide all the details and song selections we need.
